The latest volume of the personal book series "I AM BEAMS," which captures the charms of individual BEAMS staff members who have a deep passion for fashion and lifestyle, Vol. 9, "OUTDOOR EXPED BOOK 99," will be released sequentially from Thursday, March 27, 2025, at select BEAMS stores, BEAMS ONLINE SHOP, bookstores nationwide, Amazon and other online bookstores.

The 9th volume of the "I AM BEAMS" series features Shigeru Kaneko, chief buyer at BEAMS PLUS BEAMS PLUS which has been attracting attention from around the world for its clothes-making based on a deep knowledge of vintage items. This volume introduces 99 topics, including the collection of ultra-rare classic outdoor items that are the source of Kaneko's ideas.
The book is a veritable bible, with explanations of items based on Kaneko's extensive knowledge, coverage of the Outdoor Recreation Archive, "the world's finest outdoor resource room" located in the library at Utah State University, and conversations with three industry figures with deep knowledge of classic outdoor gear.
This time, it will be available in bilingual format for the first time in the series.

"I AM BEAMS" has been well received and has been published by a total of eight people since 2023. We plan to continue publishing it in the future to spread the appeal of BEAMS staff.
